Cultural Experiences of African Americans

Stereotypes II

Below you will find a charts of all the results of our survey that we conducted on stereotypes.  Our sample size was 49 people.  After we gathered information on what the basic stereotypes of African Americans, Caucasians, and Bi-Racial Individuals were we asked one final question: How do you think African Americans are portrayed in the media (movies, TV, news, and cartoons).  Lastly, 91.4% of the participants of our survey believe that different races are portrayed in different ways in the media.  When looking at the results, ask yourself if your answers to our polls were in-line with the survey participants.
